M&A Airport Transfer

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of airport transfer, private hire, chauffeur, and related transportation services (“Services”) by M&A Airport Transfer (“we”, “us”, “our”) to our clients (“Client” / “Passenger” / “You”) in the United Kingdom. By using our website or booking our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use our Services.

1. Definitions and Interpretation

1.1 “Client” / “Passenger”: Any individual or entity booking or using M&A Airport Transfer Services.

1.2 “Booking”: Any confirmed arrangement for transportation or chauffeur services.

1.3 “Vehicle”: Any car, minibus, or other vehicle used to provide Services.

1.4 “Driver”: A licenced and qualified driver employed or contracted by M&A Airport Transfer.

1.5 “Service Area”: Locations within Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas, including airport and special event destinations agreed at the time of booking.

These Terms form a binding agreement between M&A Airport Transfer and the Client.

2. Eligibility to Use Our Services

2.1 Passengers must be legally allowed to travel in the UK and comply with all applicable laws.

2.2 Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

2.3 Clients must provide accurate information when making a booking, including:

  • Full name and contact information
  • Pick-up and drop-off addresses
  • Flight details (if applicable)
  • Number of passengers and luggage requirements
  • Any special requests or accessibility needs

Failure to provide accurate information may result in cancellation, refusal of service, or additional charges.

3. Booking and Confirmation

3.1 Bookings may be made via our website, telephone, or email.

3.2 A booking is considered confirmed only when we provide a confirmation number or written/email confirmation.

3.3 We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion, including:

  • Unsafe or illegal travel requests
  • Behaviour deemed unacceptable by the driver or company
  • Unreasonable travel locations beyond the Service Area without prior agreement

3.4 Booking details may not be transferred to another person without our consent.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4.2 Payment methods include:

  • Debit/credit card
  • Bank transfer (for corporate accounts)
  • Cash payments (pre-arranged only)

4.3 Payments are due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed for corporate accounts.

4.4 M&A Airport Transfer reserves the right to revise prices due to fuel increases, airport fees, tolls, or regulatory changes, with prior notice wherever possible.

4.5 Promotional offers or discount codes may have expiry dates and cannot be combined with other offers.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

5.1 Client Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to pick-up are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations less than 48 hours may incur a 50% charge.
  • No-shows or cancellations after the driver has departed are charged in full.

5.2 Company Cancellations

  • M&A Airport Transfer may cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, such as vehicle breakdown, driver illness, or adverse weather.
  • We will attempt to provide an alternative vehicle, reschedule, or issue a full refund.
  • We are not liable for indirect losses, including missed flights, events, or appointments.

5.3 Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

6. Passenger Conduct

6.1 Passengers must:

  • Remain seated and wear seatbelts at all times
  • Follow driver’s instructions regarding safety
  • Not carry illegal substances, hazardous materials, or pets without prior approval
  • Behave respectfully and professionally

6.2 M&A Airport Transfer reserves the right to terminate a journey if the driver considers behaviour unsafe, abusive, or unlawful. No refund will be issued for terminated journeys.

6.3 Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.

7. Airport Transfers

7.1 Clients must provide accurate flight details at the time of booking.

7.2 Drivers monitor flight arrivals, but passengers must inform us of delays or cancellations.

7.3 If a passenger misses the pick-up time, standard cancellation charges apply.

7.4 M&A Airport Transfer is not responsible for airline delays or missed flights.

8. Corporate and Special Event Services

8.1 Corporate accounts may receive priority bookings, invoicing options, and reporting services.

8.2 Special events such as weddings, Ascot, London trips, or parties may incur additional fees for vehicle choice, driver uniforms, or waiting time.

8.3 Terms for corporate or event bookings will be agreed in writing.

9. Vehicle Standards and Drivers

9.1 All drivers are licenced, insured, and trained in professional customer service.

9.2 Vehicles are regularly maintained, insured, and comply with UK road regulations.

9.3 M&A Airport Transfer may replace a driver or vehicle for operational reasons.

10. Liability and Limitation

10.1 M&A Airport Transfer provides services in good faith but does not guarantee outcomes such as punctuality or specific journey durations.

10.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses, including missed flights or appointments
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles
  • Delays caused by traffic, road closures, or weather

10.3 Liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence is not limited.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

11.1 Personal data is collected and used in line with our Privacy Policy.

11.2 Data is processed for booking management, communication, marketing (with consent), and legal compliance.

11.3 Clients may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data in line with UK GDPR.

12. Force Majeure

M&A Airport Transfer is not liable for delays, cancellations, or failure to provide services due to events outside our reasonable control, including:

  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Strikes or industrial action
  • Road closures, accidents, or traffic disruption
  • Government restrictions or emergencies

13. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

13.1 Passengers are encouraged to raise complaints promptly via email or phone.

13.2 Complaints will be investigated fairly, and a response will be provided within a reasonable timeframe.

13.3 Unresolved disputes may be escalated to UK consumer dispute resolution bodies.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and all disputes arising from M&A Airport Transfer services fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
